I recently enjoyed a week in Malta with Involved Holidays. The hotel was superb, very contemporary with large airy rooms and delicious food. It was situated in a good location with a direct bus route to a number of towns including Valletta.
Walking was varied with breathtaking views.

Involved holiday group had this week in Paphos organised to perfection. Their choice of hotel was real good in terms of accommodation, food and location. Our leader Leanne was most helpful, friendly and more, our guide Nik chose lovely locations for hiking and was knowledgable, friendly and accommodating. Loved it and have booked one more which I’m hoping will be the same. Well done involved holiday. 🙏

The Involved Holiday to Paphos in Cyprus was excellent from start to finish. The holiday rep was there to meet us when we landed, explained everything very well, came with us on our walks and saw us off when we left. The walks leader was excellent. His knowledge,not only of the areas we walked in, but also of the history of the Island and the Greek language. The accomodation and food in the hotel was first class. I would thoroughly recommend this holiday.

This was our third walking holiday with Involved Holidays, this time in September 2024 to Menorca. We chose Involved Holidays as they fly from Leeds/ Bradford airport unlike a lot of other walking companies and holidays have a mixture of walking days and free days to relax.
And what a lovely holiday and what an underrated beautiful island! We did 4 stages approximately of the Cami de Cavalls, the walking trail circling the island. All beautiful walks and our guide Javier was superb, most friendly and so knowledgeable of the bird life, fauna, flora and geology of the island. We loved the rugged coastline, the Menorca gates and the lighthouses. The hotel was fine, a group of 16 walkers and we all got on very well, a great holiday with great weather as well

Excellent holiday.The guide was very knowledgeable about Menorca and its birds, flora and fauna and was helpful with advice about what to do on non walking days as well as being a very pleasant man. Staff at the hotel were helpful and pleasant too. Food was varied and plentiful though classic hotel buffet standard. Rooms could have done with a bit of an update but were clean and comfortable. Although there wasn't a kettle in the room one was quickly provided on request . Really enjoyed this type of holiday and hope to go on another Involved Holiday in the future.

We set off to Jersey not knowing much about the place. We stayed at a lovely hotel, Cristina. Our room overlooking the swimming pool. I bravely ventured in. Only 4 lengths later with icicles in my hair gave it up. The hotel is more or less mid way between St. Aubin and St. Helier. About half a mile from the hotel is a church St. Matthews it is known as the "Glass Church" , it has been decorated in a beautiful Art Deco design by Rene Lalique. The walks were very interesting with WW2 German defence bunkers and vast structures. Other walks included neolithic stone ritual sites and harbours, Castles, empty beaches that stretch out for miles.On our free day we took the opportunity to visit the War Tunnels. A really good day out.
We met a friendly group of people from all over the British Isles. A special mention goes to Trudie, our guide . She was well organised and knowledgeable and made our walks interesting. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone.

We have much enjoyed our walking holiday in Lerici, which is our first experience of travelling with Involved Holidays. The weather to start with upset the programme, but the company did their best to make alternative arrangements to ensure that we got the most out of the trip. We will probably try a holiday in another destination with this company sometime. On this occasion we had a lovely small group - just 16 - which was an optimum number we felt.

I discovered Involved Holidays this last year, and have just returned from my second walking holiday trip with them to Calpe. Excellent service throughout including booking, tour guide, hotel accomodation and I was even able to fly from my local airport. Overall it was a much better experience than that offered by longer-established walking holiday companies and at such a competitive price. How do they do it?! I've already booked two more trips with them...

Superb 5* holiday in Menorca, September/October 2024. Hotel staff were invariably friendly and helpful, The choice of food was extensive and generally of good quality. The three walks (plus one optional) were well organised and provided us with a good understanding of island. But the highlight was the guide, Xavi. His knowledge was encyclopedic - plants, animals, birds and geology - and added immensely to the enjoyment of each walk. I am happy to say that we have never been disappointed in holidays booked with Involved.

I just thought I'd let you know what a wonderful holiday we had in Tuscany. It was probably the best Involved holiday we have had. Every aspect of the holuday was first class. Marina di Pietrasante is a super base, with its lovely beach, park and shops. The old town was absolutely stunning and definitely worth a visit. With the bus stop outside the hotel, it was easy to connect to other bus and rail services.

The Hotel Joseph was so clean, with a good pool, although the sea was warmer! The food was quintessentially Italian and we like to choose our meals rather than have a buffet of frozen vegetables and mismatched dishes. The staff were friendly, too.

Julio was a superb guide, the best we have had. His knowledge, positively and ability to read the group, along with his approachability were much appreciated. The walks were lovely and even though we didn't get to the mountains because of the weather, the replacement walk was very interesting and suitable for all the group.

Even with our extra week, we never ran out of things to do. We visited Pisa, had a boat trip along the Cinque Terre, visuted Torre del Lago Villa Puccini and revisited Luca, which was our favourite place.

Walking in Tuscany with Involved holidays recently was an excellent experience. The Hotel Joseph was ideally situated on the outskirts of the resort, which was nice and quiet this time of year.
All the walks were great with wonderful views and were well planned by Giulio our very knowledgeable tour manager and guide.
Would definitely recommend.

My fourth holiday with Involved and I can't wait to book my next. The attention to detail throughout is brilliant. As a solo traveller I feel totally relaxed from the moment I decide where Involved will take me. The booking process is uncomplicated. There is always a friendly helpful advisor to guide you, if you prefer to book by telephone. The documentation for your trip arrives with everything you require. Including boarding passes, which for me is reassuring. The trip to Spain staying at The Hotel Alcadima in Lanjaron was fantastic. The hotel is traditional and was perfectly appointed for my weeks stay. My room was very comfortable with views of the mountains from my balcony. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. I wish I could have stayed longer. The Alpujarras provided a wonderful variety of walking terrain which enabled us to experience the beauty of this region with the snow topped Sierra Nevada Mountain range in the distance. Our guide who remained with us throughout was attentive and knowledgeable about the region. He helped make the holiday great fun. The walk leaders had an in depth knowledge of the area. They led the group on three very different walks over the week. Each beautiful and interesting. To return to Hotel Alcadima for a dip in their beautiful pool each evening was a real bonus. I would highly recommend Involved Travel and the packages they put together for their holidays.

I had a very good week's walking holiday in north eastern Mallorca, in April 2024, courtesy of Involved Holidays. It was very well organised; the group of 21 of us stayed in an efficient and comfortable 4 star hotel, the easy grade walks were well within everyone's capabilities, the guides were helpful and nobody felt compelled to 'keep up'.
I unreservedly recommend Involved Holidays. It was my first trip with them and I shall be booking with them again. PS I am quite a stringent customer & there are lots of cowboy operators out there.

“My first walking holiday with Involved and I was not disappointed. Excellent value for money. Hotel was first class, very good facilities, especially the three swimming pools! My only negative comment being the early start for the walks; 8.30am. I would have preferred 9.00-9.15am which would have allowed for a more leisurely breakfast. My only reservation when booking this holiday was the 3 ‘free days’. Fortunately our guide offered an extra walk, at an additional cost, but it was well worth it and almost all the group participated. I am booked to travel again in May to Sierra Mijas and am confident that I will not be disappointed! Thank you for providing a wonderful holiday experience.”

Walking in Lake Maggiore

Involved holidays have managed to do it again! A lovely hotel, beautifully furnished right on lake Maggiore in Stresa.

The staff at the hotel were all very pleasant and friendly. Breakfasts were plentiful with continental and a hot option, all beautifully presented.

The evening meals were very good especially the pasta courses. The fact that the waiters offered extra portions of pasta and vegetables to those people who required it was a really nice touch.

On our first morning we all met Lucca who gave us helpful information including the ferry timetable which was invaluable for exploring the small islands on the lake.

Sadly the weather was so bad on the day of our first walk that it was called off, but our walking guide Marco took us all on the bus to another town on the side of the lake which has an art gallery housing some very impressive pieces of sculpture and artwork.

The first walk we went on, the weather had improved dramatically. Marco took us uphill to a small village where we had a break and proceeded on a circular route back to catch the bus. There were some lovely views across the lake.

For the second walk we caught the train. Marco took us up to another small hamlet with a beautiful view point, then down to the side of another small lake where we had lunch before catching the train back.

Marco was a very pleasant young man who had a very good knowledge of the local area and the nearby National Park.

Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would thoroughly recommend this holiday to anyone.

Very much enjoyed my recent walking holiday to Cala Ratjada in Mallorca. The hotel was comfortable and the food and service was excellent! Loved all the three walks with Julio and assistant Patricia or Danny. Julio kept us at a nice pace and every now and then gave us information about local views, places of interest, trees etc. I would definitely recommend Involved Holidays.

I recently had the pleasure of walking in Majorca . From day 1 when we were collected from the airport and transferred to the hotel Involved holidays organisation was fantastic. Our guide Julio was very knowledgeable on geography and history plant life and local customs. Throughout the walks he was kind, caring and mindful of everyone’s ability. Walking in Cyprus with Involved Holidays provided more than I expected as we were immersed in the history, the flora, the agriculture and the beauty of this fabulous island. The Athena Beach Hotel was a wonderful location, with excellent food, all the amenities and attentive staff. We stayed an extra three nights, arranged by Involved thus giving more time to explore independently.

I've just returned from an excellent trip to the Algarve with Involved Holidays. We stayed in Armacao de Pera, a pleasant small town with a delightful beach, and a comfortable hotel, with good amenities and great staff.
Our walks were excellent, well organised and paced, and providing a variety of locations. Our guide, John, was excellent, ever ready to provide a wealth of experience and local knowledge. During our free days, a number of great options were available, so we had the opportunity to explore additional areas in the Algarve. Much of the credit for the group's enjoyment of the holiday was due to the humour, kindness and enthusiasm of John. He collected us late at night when our faulty plane had to be replaced, helped us over mountain streams, entertained us with musical quizzes, and constantly checked that everyone was content. He is a great asset to the Company!
This is the 3rd holiday I have gone on with Involved Holidays, and all have been very enjoyable. I hope to travel with I H again in future.

I was so pleased with my first trip with Involved Holidays to Andalucia last year that I and my friend booked a Solo Holiday to the Algarve. Just like the previous holiday, everything went very smoothly.
The walking guide, João, spoke excellent English with great sense of humour. He has a vast knowledge of literally every plants, and fruit trees. It was like walking with a mobile encyclopaedia. Our knowledge on plants were greatly enriched. He would go out of his comfort zone to ensure our safely came first. His backmarker, Dormi, was very friendly and full of smile. Everyday was a delight going on the walk with them.
The hotel was very comfortable and in a good location, close to the beach with an amazing sunset. Bedroom was very clean, and spacious. Breakfast and dinner offered a good selection of local and international fares and of good quality.
Both my friend and I had a great time in the Algarve with Involved Holidays. I look forward to booking future holidays with them.

Very enjoyable holiday in Cala Ratjada. Accommodation, transfers, food were all of a good standard adding to the enjoyment of our stay. Facilities and service at the hotel were excellent. Walks were varied in length and difficulty. Guides were excellent, were knowledgeable and gave confidence in some difficult cliff side walking. All in all a very good walking holiday and would recommend

Our first time with Involved took us to the Gower for a weekend walking! We were put up in a nice hotel in Llanelli and we’re well catered for!
We like reasonable,not too difficult walks with a view to see as well as just walk. Our walks did exactly what we had hoped with highlights at Rhosilli Beach and Three cliffs Bay.
Our walk leader was excellent and empathetic to the groups needs!
Needless to say we’ve booked 2 more trips with Involved for 2024 already 😀

Just returned,with my husband, from a weeks walking holiday in Mallorca with InvolvedHolidays staying in Cala Rajada at the Hotel Bella Playa. Everything was very well organised from the start, we were met at the airport and taken to our hotel where we had a clean comfortable room on a high floor, as we had requested, the food was good and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The following morning we met the rest of the group and our walking guide Julio who after introductions and welcome drink, explained our itinerary for the week. We were soon off on the 1st of 3 included walks and with an option of a 4th on our second rest day (which 3 of us did!)
Our guide took great care of us making sure everyone was comfortable with the pace and we always had time to rest and take in the views.
The week went by all soon and we enjoyed it very much indeed and would certainly consider another similar trip with InvolvedHolidays and definitely recommend them.

This was our first holiday outside of the UK since lockdown. What a great choice we made with Involved Holidays to the Andalusia area of Spain. The holiday was a perfect balance between walking and sightseeing around this wonderful area of the country. The Resort Representative Manuel spoke and understood perfect English and couldn’t have been more helpful and informative to all the guests on the holiday. We had a wonderful week on Portugal on a walking holiday with Involved Travel. Everything about it worked perfectly.
The hotel was right on the beach at one end of the lovely resort of Armaçâu De Péra. It was clean comfortable and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The walks were beautiful and not too long for our older legs! Our local representative and the walk leader were attentive and alert to the individual capacitors of different members of our group without being intrusive.
This is the second time we have been on this holiday to this resort and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

Thank you for a fantastic holiday. The tour was super efficient from start to finish. The booking process was easy, tour information provided was comprehensive, pre checkin for flights with boarding pass issued was very handy. Transfers at destination was fast and smooth. We were met with local guide who was with us throughout the whole period, always reachable to answer any questions. The organised walks and excursions were spectacular. Graham, our walk leader, was knowledgeable and caring. He was constantly checking to see if everyone was safe and offered help in difficult places. Our local guide Manuel was friendly and warm with a wealth of local knowledge on history/culture, delivered with humor. I'm grateful to Manuel for organizing the trip to El Caminito Del Rey on short notice. Caminito Del Rey was amazing, well worth a visit! Our guide on that trip (Rudi) was wonderful too!

The hotel and accommodation, although a bit dated, was comfortable. Food was good and services were efficient.

A trip of a lifetime and lots of fond memories of Andalusia.
