Upon arrival, report to the Summer Times desk (16) in the arrival hall after customs and meet your representative. You will then be transferred to the Hotel Ravenala Attitude, Balaclava for 10 nights all-inclusive accommodation.

Day Three A Glimpse into Mauritius Cultural Heritage
Meet in reception at 0930 when the day begins with a departure towards Cap Malheureux, a tranquil northern village best known for its charming red-roofed church and peaceful views of Gunner’s Quoin and the nearby islets. Take time to enjoy the scenery and capture photographs in this calm coastal setting. You will continue by coach through Grand Baie, one of the island’s most well-known coastal towns, before arriving at the beautiful Pamplemousses Botanical Garden. Enjoy a stroll through the gardens, home to giant water lilies, centuries-old trees, and a remarkable variety of tropical plants. Travel onwards to Beau Plan for a visit to L’Aventure du Sucre, where the story of sugarcane and its importance in Mauritian history. Lunch is included at Eureka – La Maison Créole in Moka, a gracious colonial house set within lush gardens. Here, guests can savour traditional Creole cuisine in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. After lunch you will proceed to the Blue Penny Museum for a cultural visit highlighting Mauritius’ maritime heritage and the famous 1847 Post Office stamps. The day concludes with a leisurely stop at the Port Louis market, where colourful stalls, local produce, spices, and handicrafts offer a pleasant insight into everyday Mauritian life before returning to your hotel at approximately 1530.

Day Five An insight into the diversity of Mauritian Scenery.
Meet in reception at 0930 when day begins with a transfer to visit Trou-aux-Cerfs, a dormant volcanic crater offering 360-degree panoramic views across the island. You can enjoy the cool air and take in the scenery at ease. From here, you will take a scenic drive through the forested interior of Mauritius, passing through lush landscapes on the way to Ganga Talao (Grand Bassin). This sacred lake is one of the island’s most important spiritual sites, offering a calm and reflective atmosphere ideal for a gentle cultural visit. You will continue through the beautiful Black River Gorges National Park, where rolling hills and deep valleys create some of the island’s most impressive natural scenery. Included lunch is served at a local restaurant, perfectly positioned to offer breathtaking views and a relaxed dining experience.
You will then continue to Chamarel, where you will visit the spectacular Chamarel Waterfall, followed by the nearby Seven Coloured Earth. This unique geological phenomenon provides a fascinating and easy-to-enjoy insight into the island’s natural history.
Today’s tour will end at approximately 1530. On the return journey, you can enjoy the stunning coastal views, with Le Morne Mountain and Île aux Bénitiers creating a memorable backdrop as the day gently comes to an end and you return to the hotel.

Day Seven Waterfall Trek – 7 Cascades
Meet your guide in reception at 0930 to begin your coach journey. Enjoy a peaceful escape into the heart of Mauritius with a visit to the beautiful 7 Cascades, also known as Tamarind Falls. This scenic area is renowned for its series of waterfalls, lush greenery, and tranquil river landscapes. You will follow the gentle flow of the Tamarind River as it winds its way through ancient, cooled lava rock, creating a naturally cool and refreshing environment. Take time to admire the surrounding forest, and moments of quiet relaxation in nature. Along the route, several viewpoints offer lovely photo opportunities and places to rest. At selected waterfalls, natural pools have formed where you may choose to enjoy a refreshing dip or simply take in the serene atmosphere. *Swimming is optional, allowing everyone to enjoy the experience. Today’s walk offers a wonderful balance of natural beauty, gentle exploration, and relaxation, making it an ideal way to connect with Mauritius’ unspoilt landscapes.

Day Nine Charms & Flavours - A journey through Mauritius heritage and flavours
Meet in reception at 0930. Begin by travelling by coach to Visit Les Aubineaux, a historic colonial mansion built in 1872 and an important part of Mauritian heritage. Enjoy a gentle introduction to the island’s past in a cool and peaceful setting. You will continue with a scenic drive through rolling tea fields to Bois Chéri Tea Factory. Learn about local tea production, followed by a traditional tea break at the chalet, where you can relax and enjoy the views. Included lunch is served at the Saint Aubin Plantation House, dating back to 1819. The estate is renowned for its locally grown vanilla, anthurium greenhouse, and rum, offering insight into plantation life and local traditions. You will proceed to La Vanille Nature Park, home to the largest group of Aldabra giant tortoises in Mauritius, along with a variety of other animals. You may also visit the Insectarium, which displays over 23,000 specimens from around the world. The day concludes at approximately 1530.
