DAY ONE: Arrival day
On arrival at Alicante, you will be transferred to your hotel for a seven-night stay with half-board accommodation. The transfer takes around one hour.
DAY TWO: Walk 1
Transfer to your first walk beginning in the Alicante town of Sella, an ancient mountain village, located 18 kilometres inland from the coastal town of Villajoyosa, on the Spanish Costa Blanca. This small, authentic place is surrounded by magnificent mountain peaks and ridges, terraced almond groves, wooded valley trails, and spectacular gorges. Sella is also famous for having some of the best rock climbing in Europe. Depending on the time of year olives, almond blossom, oranges, lemons, various wild herbs, several varieties of birds, and, if there is luck, maybe a wild boar can be seen! From Sella, you make your way towards Fuente del Berro, relishing the scenery as you go. Continuing from Fuente del Berro, traverse the path adorned with lush vegetation, cross wooden bridges and enjoy the peaceful ambiance before reaching Puente del Perdón. From here, the trail meanders through captivating landscapes, absorb the tranquility and natural beauty as you progress towards La Pesquería. The trail continues, offering glimpses of diverse flora and fauna. Arrive at El Manantial, a serene spring that marks the 5-mile point of your journey. After a rest stop at El Manantial, you begin your return journey to Sella. Retrace your steps, taking in the familiar yet captivating scenery from a different perspective as you head back to Sella.
DAY THREE: Free day in resort.
DAY FOUR: Walk 2
0900 – Please meet your walking guide in reception for the 40-minute transfer to the start of your walk. The village of Guadalest balances precariously on top of a cliff. A little tunnel carved into the rock takes you to the bell tower and old Moorish castle. Meanwhile, the quaint streets and squares are filled with cafés, craft shops and museums. Commence your walk from Guadalest village and head towards the reservoir, you follow the path that takes you around the perimeter of the reservoir, enjoying the stunning views along the way until you reach the dam. From here you continue along the trail that runs adjacent to the reservoir, embracing the tranquility of the area, following the path leading to the Embalse de Guadalest viewpoint, which offers breathtaking panoramas of the reservoir. Leaving the viewpoint, your guide leads you on the trail toward El Castell de Guadalest. As you walk, immerse yourself in the natural beauty and enjoy the scenic vistas that accompany the route. The final leg of the journey takes you from El Castell de Guadalest back to the village of Guadalest. Traverse the path or road leading down, relishing the views and the historic charm, before concluding your walk back in Guadalest.
DAY FIVE: Walk 3
Transfer by coach to the unspoilt Serra d’Oltà hills. You follow a circular route around the peak, mainly along good forestry tracks. The route affords fantastic views of the coast and surrounding mountains as it passes through pinewoods and moorland. You will make a stop at St Francis’ hermitage. There will be an opportunity to buy lunch in Calpe at the end of the walk, though you may wish to take a snack with you. The walk is just under 5 miles with ascents of 320m and descents of 380m.
DAY SIX: Walk 4
0900 – Please meet your walking guide in reception for the 50-minute coach transfer to your final included walk which will explore the Jalón Valley, famous for its vineyards, fine wines and the typical sweet white Mistela. The route starts from the summit of the Coll de Rates from where you have panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the Tárbena Valley, the Sierra de Ferrer and the Jalón Valley with its whitewashed villages, vineyards and citrus groves set out in neat rows. The route descends from the Coll de Rates along the old Royal Road that takes you down into the Jalón Valley. This footpath was the principal connection between the provincial capitals of Valencia and Alicante up until the early 20th century. You then follow an easy footpath through pinewoods along the southern flanks with views of the valley below. This walk is 8 miles with a break-off point of 5 miles with ascents of 80m and descents of 525m, arriving back at the hotel late afternoon.

Free time until departure for the airport and your flight home.
