HOLIDAY ITINERARY

Day One Arrival Day

On arrival at Palma airport, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, the Bella Playa, for seven nights half board accommodation. Transfer time 50 minutes.

Day Two Walk 1

Meet in the hotel bar at 0915, where you will meet your walking guide, they will provide further information about the walks and answer any questions you may have before you depart on your first walk. To begin the walk you will head into the dunes of Cala Agulla, and then go around the peninsula of Cala Ratjada, via Cala Lliteras. You will arrive at the lighthouse, located at an altitude of 70m, from where you can see the neighbouring island of Menorca. Then you follow the coast down to beautiful Cala Gat and on to Cala Ratjada port. The distance to here is approx. 6 miles. the walk will finish at the port, however,your walking guide will assist anyone who wishes to extend the walk, by continuing in the direction of Font de Sa Cala, a further 4 miles return.

Day Three Walk 2

0915 – Depart Reception for morning walk – Puig de Sa Cova Negra & Capdepera You head first along the coast to Na Taconera, and then cross the hills to take a stony path up to 230m in altitude, before descending to Capdepera, where there is a chance to visit the medieval castle, before returning along a path between Mallorcan farms. This walk is approx. 11km (7 miles).

Day Five Walk 3

0915 – Depart Reception for morning walk – the Calas of the National Park You head through the pine forest and cross the Es Munt Gros dunes, before going along the coast to the Punta des Boc (80m high). Your guide will lead you along a cobbled path passing through Cala Molto and Cala Agulla. This walk is 17km (11 miles) long. A shorter version may also be available. Nearby is the ascent to the Son Jaumell watch tower, 270 metres up – you may wish to return this way on a free day and do the climb. Your guide will provide advice on request.

Day Six Walk 4

Today’s walk takes place in Petra, a town in the centre of the island, famous for its history about Fray, a missionary who founded many towns & missions on the west coast of the USA in California. You climb up to a small hill with a monastery on top to take in views of Alcudia Bay & the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range. 6 miles, 257m ascent and 285m descent.
